Booksie is committed to nurturing lifelong confident readers through our Book Club.

Our Accra-based Literacy Centre is home to a book club where we read and discuss exciting African books and teach new and beginning readers how to read using Jolly Phonics. We also organise Storytime with authors and run Holiday Reading Camps during school breaks.

We run book clubs through which we teach beginning and struggling readers how to read using a combination of Jolly Phonics and our thoughtfully designed reading for pleasure curriculum.

You can join the Saturday Book Club or sign up for individual after school lessons.

Every Saturday: 10am - 2pm

Monday - Friday: Anytime between 9am - 5pm (create your own schedule)

Baby and Toddler Storytime

Booksie's Baby & Toddler Storytime is designed to help babies and toddlers fall in love with books. Join us for a fun hour and a half of engaging stories, songs and art and craft!

This is perfect for children 3 and below, who have not yet started school.

Every Tuesday: 10am - 11:30am

Holiday Reading Camp

Booksie’s Holiday Reading Camp brings together the best of all our activities. We read, write, play and ultimately have fun in a reading focused environment. Parents don’t have to worry about food because we provide lunch.

Christmas Camp: 9 Dec- 20 Dec

Time: 9am - 3pm

**Early drop off from 8:30am and late pick up until 5pm
