Our hiring process

Our hiring process involves three simple steps, outlined below.

Please ensure you have your CV ready, as you will be required to upload it when completing the application form. You will also be asked to upload your English Proficiency Test results, so please have them ready.

  • 1. English Proficiency Test

All applicants must complete a short English proficiency test. Most roles at Booksie involve teaching reading, so strong grammar, syntax and written expression are essential.

Take the test in one sitting. Once completed, download your results, as you will need to upload them with your application.

  • 2. Submit your application

Scroll down to the role you are interested in and click the Apply button beneath it. Complete the application form and upload your CV along with your English Proficiency Test results. Please ensure both documents are ready before you begin.

  • 3. Take home assignment

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a take home assignment related to the role. This helps us understand how you approach tasks, solve problems and apply your skills in a practical setting.

  • 4. Interview with Manager

Applicants who successfully complete the assignment will be invited to an interview with the hiring manager. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your experience and approach to the role and for you to ask any questions you may have.

  • 5. Interview with CEO

Successful applicants will then have a final interview with the CEO. This conversation helps us get to know you better, discuss your fit with Booksie and answer any remaining questions before we make a decision.

  • 6. Offer

If you are selected for the role, we will share an offer outlining the role, terms and next steps.
